Maybe it is easy to do it, but as a beginner i am, i cant understand how to do it. Can you explain me? Thank you

The minimum of LAN Ports that should be there in the firewall hardware, should be 2 LAN Ports, and then you
are able to set up one as WAN port and one as your LAN Port.

So you need to add a network interface card (NIC) to realize this.

When you refer to LAN with 2 ports, do you mean something like this ?http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0077CS9UM/ref=s9_simh_hd_bw_p147_d0_i1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=merchandised-search-2&pf_rd_r=1S2AN9XBTGPMG50FF1GN&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=77b9e727-3844-3e7b-b75e-2a06ec7f4c9a%2Fb88099f4-78cc-3137-ad9d-2494ea418f22&pf_rd_i=13983711

This is one example of two LAN Ports on a NIC. You can also have something like this
named as one or more LAN Ports:
            1 LAN Port
            4 LAN Port
            5 LAN Port

It should be more a work around as a real solution in my eyes but this has mostly each of us to find out
for hoim self because for a home set up it would be perhaps running well, but often after installing this
problems could be there that will be not able to solved out, there are both camps of meaning about such
            isb to lan adapters.

                You should have said so.

                1. Get a managed switch and use VLANs
                2. Get a USB NIC. Others can advise what might work.

Yeah, sure thing… USB to 2x1Gbps. Sure thing. Right after hell's frozen. Do yourself a favour and get the managed switch.

Take a Netgear GS108Tv2 and use VLANs well.

Interestingly enough that's how I've got mine setup. I've got KVM running on an Intel NUC and virtualising PFSense rather than running it on the hardware. The "WAN" Nic is a dedicated USB 3.0 NIC - I get the full 1Gbps throughput. For a home router it's small and does the job. I also run a few other VMs on the same machine.

The newer USB 3.0 Nics, if supported are actually not that terrible. I've got a 4x Intel PCie NIC sitting around, but I'm waiting to build a mini iTX machine for that which i will run PFSense directly on the hardware.

Something tells me OPs old laptop isn't USB 3.0.
