      Hi all,

      what is the recommend install for VMware install. is 5gb enough. I only run openvpn package and have 4 interfaces

        I GB is the recommended minimum size.  You would need more if you added extra packages like squid, Snort, etc.

        I run 2.2.5 under ESXi 6.0U1a and I gave it a 40 GB disk, of which 5% is used, and I run squid.

          yeah i also allocated 40gb from my 500gb datastore. However i am moving to an 120gb ssd for my datastore. so i would like to use minimum as possible . just wanted to double check as 1gb hd seems very low.

          I should be ok allocating 5gb. like i said the only package i use is openvpn

            You could probably get by just fine on 1 GB with that small configuration.
