Help! I think I broke my SG-2220
-
I'm going to start this off by saying I'm very new to all of this.
I bout a SG-2220 to be able to create a VPN to my home network. While going through the initial set up process on the WebGUI I changed the LAN address from the default 192.168.1.1/24 to 172.16.2.1/12 per the recommendation to avoid problems with VPNs. After doing this I'm unable to get connected to the device any more. I'd really just like to get it restored to the defaults and start all over again, but can't seem to figure out how to do this. I have no idea what to do now and I'm hoping someone here can help me get this sorted out. Thanks!
Andy

Give your PC a static IP address in the new subnet and connect again, then fix the DHCP server pool to match the new subnet. If that doesn't help, see https://portal.pfsense.org/docs/manuals/reference/sg-series-serial-console.html for connecting to the console, or https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ys4asmNGhT0 for factory reset help.
If you haven't registered yet, do that and you can also contact us directly for support.

Just a small note, when you get back in - 172.16.2.1/12 is a little on the large size for a home network LAN.
You're allowing for some 4 million devices in your home LAN.
Try setting that to something like 172.16.2.1/24 (allowing for a much more reasonable 255 devices) and you may find you're no longer running out of memory on your SG-2220 as well.
