So I just bought this ASRock N3150M board http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157619

Would a NC360T be bottlenecked by the board's x16 (in x1 mode) slot? Both in technical and practical terms. Or would I be better off getting two single NIC cards to use in the two x1 slots?

PCI-E 2.0 x1 is good for 500MB/s in either direction, so a gigabit lan will not bottle neck as it can only do 125MB/s in either direction; or 250MB/s for dual NICS (plus overheads, but these aren't even close to 250MB, especially with the intel cards).

under this link a board is shown and if you click on the image from above sight, to expand the
picture, you will be able to see that there are three PCIe slots!
2 Slots are PCIe x1 (the shorter ones) and
          1 Slot is PCIe 2.0 x16

So please click on the image abd open the image gallery, and then please zoom in the picture
with the above view or so called bird view perspective and see where exactly the red small line
are going to match and what PCIe slot they hit.

Would a NC360T be bottlenecked by the board's x16 (in x1 mode) slot?

No! It is a PCIe x4 card and you have a real PCIe x16 slot!

Both in technical and practical terms. Or would I be better off getting two single NIC cards to use in the two x1 slots?

once more again no! Only if in the PCIe x1 slots are also card are connected and then the manual
from this mainboard will tell you that the PCIe x16 slots is only working as a PCIe x8 or only PCIe x4
slot, but this is matching then even the real or higher PCIe requirements of the NC360T and so no
problem will be there or a bottleneck will be able to create! Perhaps if to less RAM is inserted and the
RAM get saturated or the CPU is to small and not powerful enough this could be a problem then.

No! It is a PCIe x4 card and you have a real PCIe x16 slot!

            But it's not a real x16 slot. It's "1 x PCI Express 2.0 x16 Slot (PCIE2 @ x1 mode)"

Then you should prevent of this board. The lower end Atoms are perhaps also not able to handle
              this throughput for real.

Are you planning to use one port for WAN and one for LAN, or will both be LAN ports with the onboard NIC being the WAN? Is this a home or business use environment?
As stated above, the bus speed is plenty fast enough - I'm running that very same dual NIC at x1 speeds LAN - LAN and it achieves the same speed as my gigabit switch, so i figure my bottleneck (800Mbps) is my HDD's.
