      Getting attached errors while installing 2.2.6 AMD64 Live CD Installer(USB) on Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU D525 @ 1.80GHz based system,
32bit installation working well and installed smoothly,

Is it 2.2.6 AMD64 install bug?

Which image did you use exactly?

At first glance it looks like whatever USB stick you used wasn't big enough to hold the installer image maybe.

Try a different, larger, USB stick, just to be sure.

The error is basically stating that the kernel file it tried to copy was incomplete/missing.

I'm also seeing this error.  I'm using:

          http://files.nyi.pfsense.org/mirror/downloads/pfSense-memstick-serial-2.2.6-RELEASE-amd64.img.gz

The size of the download doesn't look right to me.  It's ~2MB smaller than the 2.2.5 release.  All the other downloads are slightly bigger than the 2.2.5 releases.

The 2.2.5 image worked for me without doing anything different.  Could the 2.2.6 image be broken?

Just that one file appears to have an issue. We're investigating now.

Jimp thank you for quick reply,

You are right  about image selection.

In my  case the  problem was wrong selection of console type, serial instead of vga

After selection right combination AMD64,Live CD With installer(On USB Memstick) and VGA installation process completed with success.

              Thanks again.

This one was a legitimate problem. We regenerated that image and uploaded a fresh copy after re-testing it.
