        Hi xawakenx

no you can't, pfSense only runs on x86 hardware.

There are many (too many to choose from) mini-ITX boards with mini-pci. You will need to find a AC Wifi card that has a driver for freeBSD 10 for it to work.

pfSense 2.3.3-p1 (PFblockerNG, Snort, Squid).  VMware on Supermicro X11SSH-LN4F, Xeon E3-1425 v5, 16Gb

As told before you can´t install pfSense on such hardware.

At this time ac WiFi is not supported by pfSense partially or full!

But what you are able to do is the following, buy hardware and install pfSense on it.
If possible install DD-WRT or OpenWRT on your R6300 router and set it up in WLAN
AP mode, so you will be are able to use pfSense and ac WiFi in your network without
              any problems.

Ditto. This is smarter setup than using pfSense as an AC wireless router.
