Multi-Wan/Load Balance Traffic Routing
-
Hi Everyone,
I am using 2.0.3-RELEASE (i386)
I have set up our box to do multi-WAN Load Balancing with fail over and it works great.
The issue we are having is that some of the http traffic that is being generated by my users goes to specific sites which track user IP and when they see a user coming from two different IPs the site 'barfs' and/or complains that about seeing a security breach or they log the user out because it looks 'suspicous'.
I have tried using:
System>Advanced>Miscellaneous and then clicking sticky connections … but that has not helped either.I have read about a years worth of posts back to see if I can find a way to do this easily but can't see anything. It doesn't help that I am a relatively newbie at this.
So question:
- Does it make sense to run all http traffic down one WAN connection? and
- If I do #1 and there is a failover on that connection ... am I then 'screwed'.
Open to all ideas and suggestions - thanks in advance.
Thanks,
C -
Hi Everyone,
Just a quick update.
I put in a firewall rule that will take all http(s) traffic and push it down one of the gateways and everything seems to be fine now :).
I will call this "closed".
