      error: dhcpleases: Could not deliver signal HUP to process because its pidfile (/var/run/dnsmasq.pid) does not exist, No such process.

      please help fix this

        Have you tried disabling the DNS Forwarder and turning on the DNS resolver and configuring it? I had some DNS problems in the past, doing just that brought DNS back up, not really sure why but didn't look into it much either.

          We have had a couple reports of crashes in dnsmasq on 2.2.6, there is a thread with a fix you can try.

          Alternately, install the service watchdog package and have it monitor dnsmasq to restart it when needed.
