      Hi,

please excuse the newbie question, but I'm about to decide which way to go. Currently we've got Zywalls in use (they got to go) and road warrios (laptops) with Windows 7 connecting to our HQ via the native Windows 7 l2tp/ipsec implementation.

Does that work with pfsense? I know that OpenVPN is recommended, but this is still preferred (no client installation). Someone here in the forums said, it can't work, on the other hand someone (german: http://www.administrator.de/content/detail.php?id=184566#comment-751825) claimed success.

So, is anyone using that setup (with PSK, preferred AD authentication)?

      Any disadvantages when using it?

      Thanks!
