      http://caia.swin.edu.au/freebsd/aqm/

Saw that an actual CoDel, FQ-CoDel, PIE and FQ_PIE implementation is ready for FreeBSD!

Anyone else hoping that this makes it into 2.3. I use dummynet on my network to ensure no one client can hog all the bandwidth and I feel like this will only make the process run better.

      Thoughts?

Definitely won't make 2.3, we're a matter of days from RC, not going to be changing anything significant. Really needs to get into stock FreeBSD, after which we'll get it. Though most use of shaping here is ALTQ rather than dummynet, outside of limiters.

I believe they submitted to add it to FreeBSD11 and FreeBSD 10.3.

I used ALTQ for awhile but have found Limiters and Codel have been working just as well if not better with fewer configuration settings that need ticked.

It won't make 10.3, too late for that, but hopefully gets into 11. We'll get it sooner than later if that happens (post-2.3 regardless).
