SG-4860-1U

Hi guy,
I have a brand new SG-4860-1U that I'm attempting to configure. It seems to be getting a kernel panic then bootloops.
Any help would be appreciated!

Contacted support.
Basically fix it by booting into single user mode and running
/sbin/fsck -y /
A few times. Works fine now.

Register your device and open an account and then mail to the support of them.
It might be better to do so because if others comes in the same situation and report
them also back they would have a solution faster then only one customer is reporting
it in the user to user forum. -
Having the same problem with an SG-4860. Sadly running the fsck -y / command four times or so did not work. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Did you boot the unit in the single user mode?

Yes. I heard of a technique on youtube where you edit /boot/loader.conf. You add lines to increase buffers (for NIC's I think). This is odd about it constantly booting in that it was working fine for the short while I've had this unit. BTW, I have the smaller unit not the 1U unit. Thank you for your help.

At the pfSense logo boot menu press 2 for single user mode.
It will stop at Press RETURN for /bin/sh. Do that.
Run /sbin/fsck -y / repeatedly until it does not show any errors.
Run /sbin/reboot.
Use Halt system from the console or the Diagnostics menu before powering the unit down whenever possible.

Derelict, thanks for the help. I did all that but it didn't work. FSCK never listed a problem. What worked was re-installing. Thanks.
