    2.2.6 broken RE driver

      I started noticing our NIC flapping, here what was in the dmesg.

      re1: watchdog timeout
      re1: link state changed to DOWN
      re1: link state changed to UP
      re1: watchdog timeout
      re1: link state changed to DOWN
      re1: link state changed to UP
      

      This is only happening on 2.2.6 if i downgrade(Reinstall) to 2.2.5 it works fine. I guess the freebsd version from 10.1-p24 to 10.1.p25 broke something,  here are the tickets on it.

      I have not tried any of the workarounds yet.

        Also this only seems to happen under high load.

          That didn't change between 2.2.5 and 2.2.6, there are no driver changes between those. The linked FreeBSD bug dates back 4 years. Your best bet, outside of getting better quality hardware, is trying 2.3 since Pyun noted there were improvements in FreeBSD 10.2.
