      @gonzopancho:

      The agreement allows for both.

Excellent news, can't wait!! My current router needs a proper replacement :)

      Best regards
      Jim

Still learning, correct me if I'm wrong please.

"allows for both" doesn't necessarily mean they will carry both "brands". First there has to be sufficient stock to share with other outlets.

And don't expect the distributors to offer significant lower prices than ordering from Netgate/shop.pfSense directly.
Shipping has to be paid for (twice, from the US to distri, from distri to you), distributor needs to earn on top of Netgate and has to pay import duties and add VAT.
Obviously in the EU you have to have a WEEE registration number (waste disposal) which adds further costs.

With the current $/€ ratio I don't see why these goods could be bought cheaper from a european distributor as compared to buying directly.
It could be different if hardware was shipped from asian manufacturing directly to Europe but what would Netgate/pfSense gain then?

Non consumer-grade hardware is never cheap. It must not and it cannot be.

It's still our platform, n'est pas?

            Oui, un peut. Mais…
Don't want to be nit-picking, but is it really your platform or ADI's? Honestly, I don't know!
Anyway, you have to make your share from selling it, regardless of whom you sell it to. And a distributor is +1 mouth to be fed.
Import duties, VAT, etc. all still apply, not making it cheaper.

Anyway, looking forward to things to come.

BTW: gonzopancho as "Guest" user seems strange. Someone deleted your profile or have you been banned from this forum?  ;D

I have two of these in Kolding, Denmark - Both with a 60GB mSATA drive.

You might be able to buy one of them.

Any news on this? Still can't see any EU providers on the partner link.

Only distributor in Europe seems to be Mouser, and they only sell ADI RCC-VE PCBs in bulk (without case), minimum order 100pcs. I guess the right thing to do would be buying 100pcs, fitting them with cases and reselling since Netgate obviously isn't interested anything that aint 'murica.

Since I don't have time for that, I'm just having a cow-orker bring one from the land of the free.

                        @Koston
there are official distributers all over europe that supply whatever quantity you want.
the  import taxes & VAT that get added, make them expensive.

There are multiple partners in Europe selling SG-* systems.

The rest of your post is correct.  :P

ok right it was a typo, but it was linked to the right website.

                                  b) is not listed as Retailer (only MSP & VAR) and

This was not the question and @cmb was linking it before.
The question was "Where in EUROPE to buy new SG-xxxx or RCC-VE units?"
and not who is qualified reseller

                                  c) is Deciso Sales B.V, the company behind OpenSense. They don't sell pfSense/Netgate hardware, only "replacements".

Yep, this was a really bad failure of mine.

                                  fixed the typo.

                                  Thank you there fore.

and removed the link to con artists who are trying to sell inferior products marketed as if they were better

                                  Thank you once more again.
Here are three more of them who sells the SG- units from the pfSense store in Europe
                                  Hardwarefiewall.net - Italy
                                  IMAGE IN NETWORK - France
                                  Mindconnect - Germany
