I had a working PFsense install on an old computer. The HD died so I built a new computer for a new installation. I got the latest build from the PFsense site.

I installed on the new computer and restored the old config file I had from the previous install. One thing that may or may not make a difference is that my previous install had 2 network connections. One on the MB and another one on a NIC. The new computer has one on the MB and two NICs. I'm pretty sure I have that setup correctly, but if I haven't, just FYI

My problem now is that I can not get the PFsense box to connect to the internet. I've checked my user/pass for the ISP and it is correct. Here are some screenshots of what I think may be applicable settings

Setup: DSL modem in bridge mode -> PFsense box plugged into MB ethernet -> NIC LAN -> unmanaged switch -> computer

I have also tried unplugging and replugging in power to the DSL modem and then booting up the PFsense box.

      Thanks

      Jason

I cleared logs and then pressed connect. Under Status: System Logs, there was nothing new that showed up after hitting connect.  Any of the logs.

Here is the System - General log after rebooting

Fixed. It helps when you have the wires plugged into the right holes  :-[
