      I have only one interface which is WAN and the network port is only

      What can I do to have a LAN to my interface? thanks.

        add a network card & assign it using (interfaces–>assign)

          I don't have spare here. What I have is a built in LAN.
          What appears in my interface is
          Interface Network port WAN         re0(00:1d:7d:34:76:64)

            pfSense needs separate interfaces for WAN and LAN.

            If you can't add another physical interface your only other choice is to connect a VLAN capable switch and use VLAN interfaces for WAN and LAN.
