I have one physical interface and another openvpn client interface. I can control each subnet and interface via the normal policy based routing. What I seem to be missing is how you change the firewall routing (from the loopback interface). For example, it seems to fetch updates and pass traffic from havp through the openvpn interface, even though the physical is set as default.

Any tricks to get this working?

I'm too sick and tired to be messing with this. The problem was that the openvpn client was pulling 0.0.0.0/1, added route-nopull and route 0.0.0.0/2 (I know, it's a fugly hack, but it will work for this :) )

If there's a cleaner solution to this, I'd happily change.
