    System freezes while shutting down

      I recently installed a clean pfSense 2.2.6 in a PC with 3 PICe NICs.
      After install it looks like working properly, but once I need to reboot it freezes while shutting down.

      This is how it looks like:

        What hardware are you using for this box?

        If you power cycle the box, does it come back up properly?

          You could try setting hw.acpi.handle_reboot=0 on System > Advanced, System Tunables tab.

          Otherwise, check for a BIOS update.

            I just updated pfSense to 2.3 and added that line to System Tunables.
            Let's see how it goes now.
