NUT fails / UPS Status after 2.3-RELEASE (amd64) upgrade
-
I used to be able to see my UPS load, input & output voltages as well as time remaining info on the dashboard widget. Since the 2.3-RELEASE upgrade yesterday I'm getting the following:
Status: NUT Status
NUT Status
NUT Settings
Monitoring: Local UPS
ERROR: NUT is enabled, however the service is not running!And when I click on "UPS Status" (open the NUT page at https://pfsense.mydomain.net/status_nut.php) I get the above message and if I try to save and/or make changes I get the following:
Warning: fopen(/usr/local/etc/nut/ups.conf): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/local/pkg/nut.inc on line 64 Call Stack: 0.0001 248064 1. {main}() /usr/local/www/pkg_edit.php:0 0.3360 2463880 2. eval('sync_package_nut();') /usr/local/www/pkg_edit.php:255 0.3360 2464040 3. sync_package_nut() /usr/local/www/pkg_edit.php(255) : eval()'d code:1 0.3379 2464256 4. sync_package_nut_local() /usr/local/pkg/nut.inc:506 0.3381 2467608 5. nut_write_config() /usr/local/pkg/nut.inc:343 0.3382 2467800 6. fopen() /usr/local/pkg/nut.inc:64
It creates a crash report which I submitted to the pfSense team. Any advice other than "wait for a fix"? I also see that free pfSense is now labeled "community edition" and I see in the message above "eval('sync_package_nut" Is this something that is no longer offered without a paid without a paid subscription?
Thanks.

Nut package does not exist on 2.3.
