      Dear All,

When using package Quagga_OSPF in a CARP setting prior to 2.3, there were mechanisms to start quagga only on the master machine and stop it on the backup machine dynamically (https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=65052.msg353920#msg353920).

My impression is, that this no longer works and that Quagga_OSPF will keep running on the backup machine.

Is this a general finding and if so how can this be cured?

      Regards,

      Michael Schefczyk

The function is still there and works as always. Ensure a CARP VIP is selected on the main page of the Quagga settings of both units.
