Continuous reboot
-
After storms and a power outage last night, pfSense is continuously rebooting. From what I googled, it may point to a hardware issue.
I just want to post here to confirm before I take the next step. Screenshot below. After that a bunch of text scrolls by very fast. The last thing I see is "disabling APM on /dev/ad7 and then the "Welcome to PfSense" screen pops up
I'm dead in the water here, any help would be super appreciated.

If you have done a config backup you should try out to do a fresh install and play back the config backup.

Yep, due to time limitations that is what I did. I was running 2.2.6 so I got the old copy of 2.2.6 and reinstalled and then uploaded the backup config.
Weird though because pfSense is pretty solid, all we had last night was a couple power fluctuations which lead to its death.

You happen to catch the beginning of the crash? Recording a video on your phone can be useful in such cases. Hard to say what that could have been.

Perhaps the file system was corrupted or something else. Nice to hear about that, but I would
suggest to think about a APC UPS to get sorted for the next power break in your region.
