This morning and for the last year in my office all emails on all the computers were working fine then on all machines this morning we could not send or receive any emails that are on our godaddy email account whether it was on outlook, Thunderbird or using a browser.
I checked all the settings on the firewall I cleared all the logs and alerts on snort that did not make a difference and nothing new alerts popped up so I disabled squidguard that wasnt it I changed the dns server and still no luck so I unplugged my pfsense router and plugged in my 30 dollar ASUS router and all the emails are working fine again what am I missing ?

      what am I missing ?

Some troubleshooting skills instead of just trying random things and hoping for the best.  Unless you're fetching your mail via HTTP/S, disabling squidguard would do nothing.  Unless you are having trouble resolving the host for GoDaddy's email server, changing DNS will do nothing.  Did you lose all connectivity or just fetching email from this one server?  Did you test fetching mail from another provider like Gmail?  Did you check to see if you could resolve the GoDaddy mail server?  Did you try simply rebooting your pfSense router to clear up any glitches?  If you put your pfSense router back into the mix, does it continue to fail?  You said it was working for a year before today.  Did you make any changes to it recently?

First thing I did was to reboot my computer and pfsense and no I have not made any changes.  Only godaddy email is getting blocked on my computer I also have my yahoo email on my thunderbird and it is sending and receiving emails it is only blocking the godaddy email server even when I try to log on from a browser on this link https://sso.secureserver.net/?realm=pass&app=email and I wouldnt say its just trying some random stuff I have had many cases where for no reason snort has blocked a regular website I use for no reason.

For reasons unknown to me at the end of the day when the office workers left for the day I unplugged the wan and lan from my cheap router and plugged it back them back into pfsense box and everything is working perfect

Good to hear that it's working now.  Any time there is a funny access issue or block that doesn't make sense and Snort is involved, I always disable Snort and see if the problem goes away.  Snort cn be funny sometimes and flag legit traffic for whatever reason.
