How can i run pfsense in one pc without internet

im trying to run pfsense in a virtual machine in virtualbox
i want to be a ble to enter the webconfigurator without using a router or dsl modem etc.
is it possible…its just my pc and nothing else
my operating system is ubuntu 13

Yes, it is posible  ;)

Yes, just configure two network interfaces for your vm, and assign them during pfSense install.  You probably want 'host only' rather than 'internal' interfaces.  The former includes your host machine on the internal network, the latter does not.
