On two machines, from 2.3.1_1 to 2.3.1_5, works great!

              Hi,

I've performed the upgrade from 2.3.1_1 to 2.3.1_5 today on three machines. On one of them I did in from the GUI and the machine rebooted after the upgrade. On the other machines I did it with option 13) on the commandline and this machines did not reboot after upgrading. However, it seems that the upgrade was successful. All machines are embedded systems running on Alix.

From reading the update-guide I would expect that the machines reboot after any upgrade. Any advice?

I'd simply reboot either from the web-gui or the console if you want to be sure you got a reboot.

Upgrade went well, PPPoE said it was connected after boot but no traffic was flowing, disconnecting it under 'interfaces' and reconnecting again fixed it, seem to remember this happening in the past years ago also?

Upgraded from _1 to _5 and everything went well.  The upgrade process was no more then a few minutes more then a typical reboot time.
