      Hi All,

I have a situation where our single WAN is getting clogged with traffic, which cuts off critical traffic that needs to get through (skype, vpn's, etc.).  I tried all manner of traffic shaping with no noticeable improvement.  So I am looking at adding a second WAN.

The ideal situation would be to have two LAN connections in the same address range (just as two separate gateway targets):

      • Clients who have their gateway set to LAN1 would go through the default pfsense WAN1.

      • Clients who have their gateway set to LAN2 would go via WAN2.

All normal incoming traffic and routes will continue to come in on WAN1 as it does currently.

Is it possible to do this?  I haven't found anything in the interface other than balancing the two WANs which isn't really what I am after.

Thanks for any info in advance.

I have read it can be done with a standard firewall rule as per this thread:

I will give it a shot when we get the second WAN!
