Dont know what new image to download for install

hi guys,
i dont know what image to download for my install,
ive got a mini pc with no optical drive just usb ports so obviously im going to put the image on a usb stick but i dont know what image to download
any advice please

And this mini pc has a HDD, compact flash? You want to run off the USB or just use it for install? It has 2 network interfaces?
See the files with memstick in them, img.gz grab the one for your platform be it 32 or 64 bit. unzip so you have img file and then burn that to your stick.

2 NICS and WiFi
want to install it on HD rather than running it live on USB stick
whats the difference between serial and normal memory stick?

serial would be for when you don't have a monitor..

one more question,
windows 8.1 only lets me to burn the image to an optical drive, are there any programs that i can burn it to a USB stick?

Win32 Disk Imager works well.
