Syslog-NG on 2.3.2 Configuration format is invalid. Service wont start.

Anyone have a fix for syslog-ng package.

FreeBSD 10.3-RELEASE-p5The system is on the latest version.
Error that comes up when the service is enabled.
Syslog-ng syntax test failed: [2016-06-20T21:18:34.611197] WARNING: Configuration file format is too old, syslog-ng is running in compatibility mode Please update it to use the syslog-ng 3.7 format at your time of convinience, compatibility mode can operate less efficiently in some cases. To upgrade the configuration, please review the warnings about incompatible changes printed by syslog-ng, and once completed change the @version header at the top of the configuration file.; -

Even tried changing the header in /usr/local/etc/syslog-ng.conf to a higher version number and the same error is generated.
