      I cannot seem to find a straight answer about this anywhere…

      is IPV6 available to Comcast residential customers?
      specifically, North Miami-Dade county in Florida?

        Go here:  http://comcast6.net/

        On the top left will show the results of the CMTS query.  That will tell you if IPv6 is available for you or not.
