I've noticed strangely that if the WAN goes down or if I apply any change to the WAN interface I get these logs.

I'm not getting how the UPS connected via USB is affected via the status or config of the WAN interface. Any ideas?

        Hi cciechad,

I just posted a question here (https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=116737.msg646992#msg646992) regarding using pfSense and NUT and was wondering if you could help me out?

First, sorry I don't an answer to your question.

I was wondering if I could use a UPS (CyberPower) and connect it to both an ESXi box and my pfSense box to auto shutdown during power outage?  Does the pfSence box and NUT require USB connection for UPS auto shutdown or can it do it via network?

        Thanks for any info,
        Ian…

It is normal for packages to be restarted when interfaces are restarted. Nothing to worry about.
