i got barracuda web filter 310 From the warehouse of a company closed down

i install on it pfsense 2.3.2
i got some error Messages in the install I guess it's because network card constantly connect and disconnect

now the front connections do not respond

on start up i can hear relays click on But because there is no Barracuda software the relays click off (I guess)

I tried to look for some information about this on Google
and i got this forum to this Message
      https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=85012.msg466467#msg466467

It's pretty similar to what I have

      I read the thread
Since I am not familiar with programming like most people here

I want to try the last option given

But I was not sure what to do there
      Where to put the jumper?
On the external connection of db25
Or inside instead of cable that connects the small motherboard ?

        Hi!

Just remove the green/yellow cable connector (picture #2) and put the jumper there.

Give it a try and let me know

BTW, the jumper goes where on the same terminals the green/yellow wire are connected to.

            First of all thank you
            it worked

            secondly
I think these relays  has another role in this Motherboard
            After putting the jumper
I tried to reinstall pfsense again
I kept getting HDD error messages
Only when I plugged the cable back The installation went ok

can i do something with the led on the front panel ?
