I have pfsense 2.3.2 and installed freeradius configured to authenticate on mysql server in other box.

I use freeradius for squid authentication.

Everything works correctly, but I noticed that intermittently the freeradius service stops.  I go to services and start it succesfully.

I do not know why is stopping.  What and where should I look for the reason (please do not say in the logs plainly and provide the location of it)

Maybe it needs a keep alive configuration if it is such thing.

If anything can be determined it would be from the logs. It logs to the main system log (Status > System Logs), you can filter from there for the process of "radiusd".

You can install the service watchdog package to monitor and restart it if you can't figure out why it's stopping.

          That watchdog package sounds good.

          Thank you
