      Hi all

How can it we freebsd 10.3 repos in pfsense 2.3.2 ? I know there are 2,3 files that we need to modify for this.

p.s from time to time pfsense gui pkg manager seems not accesible: Unable to retrieve package information. any clue on this?

      Thank you.

        well after modifying those files:

        1. Make sure "enabled" key is set to "yes" in /etc/pkg/FreeBSD.conf
        2. Change "enabled: no" to "enabled: yes" in /usr/local/etc/pkg/repos/FreeBSD.conf
        3. Change "enabled: no" to "enabled: yes" in /usr/local/etc/pkg/repos/pfSense.conf for FreeBSD repo

no update works.did I miss something?

the issue seems to be :
          pkg: https://pkg.pfsense.org/pfSense_v2_3_2_amd64-core/meta.txz: Protocol not available
repository pfSense-core has no meta file, using default settings

any clue how to solve this?

Stop breaking the Repos would be a start.

Request the package you want added on redmine.
            Or
Manually fetch the package and deps (can still break things)

There is a good reason why the freebsd repo is disabled: because the devs haven't found a way to allow it & not screw up the system
