I have been using pfSense for many many years. At first I was using version 1.x with load balancing. Now I've updated to version 2.x (actually 2.0.3-RELEASE) and I'm running it with Gateway groups enabled.

However, with this version 2.x of pfSense it has never worked out like it should be.

I'm running uTorrent and I have configured NAT and FW rules, so it should utilize both of the wan interfaces. However I can't get the download speed to go to the maximum level. It looks like it is only using only one of the wan interfaces.

I've tried to do everything, tried to cahange NAT and FW settings a little bit here and there..  Basically everything seems to be fine, but when I try to utilize both wan's I just can't get the throughput I'm expecting to have.

Is there any idea, what could cause this? Any setting I might just forgotten?
Should I just downgrade to version 1.x ?

That should work fine. Now that 2.1-RELEASE has been out a while people (like me) won't remember what little bugs/tweaks there might have been in 2.0.3, so I would recommend "going fpr broke" and upgrade to 2.1-RELEASE.
Then post your gateways, gateway groups, any special NAT rules you think you needed and firewall rules and we can help sort it out.

As the Greek philosopher Isosceles used to say, "There are 3 sides to every triangle."
