      Hi All,

I have a problem with loading 2.3 on a new install. I keep getting the error F1 F6 Boot and then PC keeps rebooting.
I have read through a few issues on this topic but cannot get passed this.
      What I have done:

      1. Changed all to Legacy Mode
      2. MAde partition on HDD : 120GIG
      3. Changed all to AHCI
      4. Changed HDD's
      5. Changed CD's
      6. Pulled all my hair out. ;-)

Any assistance with this would be great.

      Mother board I am using : Gigabyte : GA-Z170-HD3

      Thanks

Hi Guys, Checked a post from another user and tried his suggestion.
I out my HDD into External enclosure and installed PF via CDROM to USB Drive.
This worked first time. Then I unplugged and pit back on SATA1 and it continues to work well.
Still dont have a clue as to why this is happening…. Good news it working so maybe someone else doesnt have to
spend 3 days trying to load PF. :-)

Bet the MB was setup for UEFI boot. I could not get W10 to install on a MB so I simply installed it on another PC and then moved the HD back.

Strangely enough no. It was on Legacy. I tried every mode the motherboard has….
What I have noticed now is that only 2.3 works the way I mentioned above.
When trying 2.2 the USB return to sata doesn't work.
            Good luck guys
