Install hard drive in another PC with working nic, upgrade, put hard disk back and you're done.

Download, minimal WAN config, and upgrade. Then activate your ports.

I don't see or recall anything like that fixed in 2.3.2_1. What's the bug number on redmine?

OK so get basic WAN and LAN configured without VLANs, download the update (console option 13), reset to defaults, and configure your device.

              Ok but is a problem.
I install 2.3.2 on my NETASQ U70 UTM and I can't active ports.
My network interfaces (Intel 1000) is found but 1-6 ports are not active.
              I think … maybe need a switch driver (BCM53115) ... but I don't know what can I do...and install this driver...

That is not the bug you describe.

pfSense (and FreeBSD) might not work on that hardware.

You can try the 2.3.3-dev snapshots, they are fairly stable:

                  Forum for feedback on them:

I personally use them in production in a couple of boxes.

I check 2.3.1 and 2.3.3-DEV now and not found :(
Interface em0 is up but 1-6 ports are not active.

My device is UTM NETASQ U70.
Can I activate BCM53115 switch driver to activate 1-6 ports?

                    Please help me do it.

A different pfSense version is not going to help you configure your on-board switch. That bug report is unrelated.

Why do you ask for help when you won't accept the answers you get? Did you read the information I linked in the other thread? It won't work, you are wasting everyone's time, including your own.

The act of working to understand why it almost certainly won't work isn't in itself a waste of time.
Maybe you'll be inspired to learn FreeBSD and create a driver.

It would be nice to see a response on the other thread though.  ;)
