      I got someone with a small office that work mostly with  cloud services office 365 and all there data stored in one drive.  They now want to install a firewall but do not want to block youtube and so on for employees but lower the priority for streaming like youtube. They where going with a untangle install, I suggested pfsense but as layer 7 is removed there is no way of lowering streaming services  right? since youtube is https it will get high priority as there cloud services. With that said is is there maybe something I can do to lower youtube ?

        You could try getting the ASN for Googlevideo.com/YouTube.com perhaps and then shape all traffic from those IPs.

          Yes that crossed my mind but I thought it might not be reliable to rely on IP addresses as they might change. But it looks like it is the only option
