DLNA across the interfaces??

Dear all,

I've two subnets:

lagg1 (igb2+igb3) => 10.0.13.0/29
igb0_vlan20 => 10.1.20.0/28

Is it possible to setup DLNA between these two? I have Avahi service enabled on all of the interfaces but none of the DLNA clients (in igb0_vlan20) can see the server that running off the other subnet. I also tried with IGMP proxy, but no joy yet. If I move the server and the clients in the same subnet, it works straight away. What am I missing? I tried what possibly I can do, but found no use. Did anyone face the same issue or can help me out here? AirPlay works just fine across the subnets though.

What is DLAN, a sort of power line communications (PLC)? I only know DLAN as PLC from Devolo.
IGMP proxy is currently broken with VLANs so won't work at all.

What do you want to do that's not working?

Sorry, that's an address only. To make it a subnet you need to add the metric like /24 or 255.255.255.0

Of course I meant DLNA: feeling so stupid now. Sorry about the mixup! Corrected now.

Thanks for your time, Chris! Added the CIDR Prefix as well. I never thought that will be required to specify for asking questions on this matter. But again, I mixed up in the first place anyway. Sorry about that.

Dumb question but you have rules in place to allow traffic between both subnets?

I couldn't find too much information about the protocols used except for usage of UPnP by DLNA devices.
Have you tried enabling UPnP support in pfSense?

I have setup some rules, for upstream and downstream devices (pls find the pic attached).

Now I did: UPnP & NAT-PMP, but still no joy.

Yes, using mDNS, with these settings:
