      I would like to buy a the Visiontek Bigfoot killer 2100 Nic. Is it supported by pfsense?

          ^That, pretty much.

          Any reason you want to use that card? I have a hard time believing it would be any advantage over a standard Intel NIC even if it is supported.

            To be clear, buy NICs with an Intel chipset.  They don't need to be Intel branded.  Intel, HP, Dell, and IBM for starters all have or do sell NICs with Intel chipsets and they all work as well as the next one.

              Its because i only have access to that nic and realtek ones but i hate the realtek nics they are problematic. so i would like to know if its supported.

                I can find almost no technical information about that NIC. I would have to assume it is not supported but without testing it I have no way to know.

                  Makes no sense I buy it then. Gonna have to continue using the realtek nic I have.
