      Hello,

I'm attempting to get an AT&T USB modem to be setup as a failover WAN connection. When going through the setup steps, I can't even save the PPP connection to see if it works without getting the following error:

"The Service name contains invalid characters."

I tried it with other service provider names (Alltel, Verizon, etc.) and they will let me proceed, but it does me no good as I have an AT&T modem. I'm guessing something in the code doesn't like the & symbol in the AT&T name, but there's not much I can do about that.

Anyone else running into this issue?

I'm on the latest production build (2.3.2-RELEASE-p1) as of this writing.

      Thanks!

I don't think you really need to use this name in the configuration. Even if you cannot select your provider in the drop-down menu it should be very easy to configure everything manually.

Well that makes me feel stupid. It looks like that got it to work by just not selecting a provider.

          Thank you!
