Is there a way so have all traffic forced via VPN gateway that will be setup to block snoopers charter investigation powers etc, but have an exception for devices like the ps4 or some other bits that it doesn't matter if not going over VPN based in non UK location that doesn't log collect.

It's not that I have anything to hide but we have been forced into this charter without a voice. So I want to choose what I show the UK government

check out the 'openvpn' section of the forum for details, but i comes down to this:

            1. setup vpn-client connection
            2. don't forget to check "don't pull routes"
            3. assign an interface to the openvpn-client (type=none)  ( https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Assign_Interfaces )
3b) a gateway will automagically be created
            4. create firewall rules with policy routing to push some packets towards their intended gateway ( https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/What_is_policy_routing )
