Very very low throughput

Hi everyone,
i have a test-setup with 4 VMs:
- pfsense with 3 interfaces: WAN, LAN, OPT1
- vm for administration purposes in LAN
- 2 "guests" in opt1 (Ubuntu)
The problem is, when i try to browse the web (firefox) the page takes forever to load. After some time the title of the page shows in the browser tab, so there must be some kind of connection but it just takes forever. The small info
box at the bottom of the browser window is showing "transferring data from…." after some time but it never finishes loading (maybe it would if i waited a few hours).DNS works, pinging works, wget works (didn't test how fast though).
I did not set any bandwith limits.
I added a firewall-rule to opt1 that allows everything.
Additionaly all VMs have a second interface that is connected to my computer, because i can only access them remotely but i configured the guest so that he accesses the internet via pfsense (i also tried completly disabling the second interface and accessed one guest via the other but it didn't make a difference).
I am running pfSense 2.3.2 (i386)
I hope someone can help me with this issue.

I still have no idea what the root of this problem is. Any suggestions?

I assume it's a virtualization problem.

try 64bit instead of 32bit

Thanks for the reply. I will try the 64Bit Version.
