IPV6 stops working after restarting/unplugging modem.

If I have to restart the modem, or unplug it, when I plug it back in IPV6 no longer works. I have to disable then re-enable the WAN-IPV6 gateway to get IPV6 working again.

Do you have pfSense set to ignore the modem's default internal address? I use this for my SB-6183 on Cox Cable.

I assume you are using dhcp on ipv6?
I have just done a test, this is with the latest 2.4B snapshot. On pulling the WAN cable dhcp6c exits, and relaunches an WAN cable re-connect.
Can you provide more info, i.e. your DHCP6 settings?

This is useful for rejecting leases from cable modems that offer private IP addresses when they lose upstream sync.Just a note that if you do this, you won't be able to check your modem's status page if it loses sync with your ISP for whatever reason. So if your modem is rebooting and you want to check the signal levels, event log, or something else, you won't be able to since pfSense is ignoring the modem's DHCP server.
