      Hello

I'm a n00b. this is my 1st install & i have made to to work like a charm.

I used a 8GB CF Card. I flashed the 4g 2.2.6 version ( i need tinc). everything is fine. when i look at the "Disk Usage" it appears that it doesnt use the entire 8GB space.

I want to enable squid3 & want to know if there is someway i can use the un-used space to cache squid there?

OR for that matter expand the storage so that the entire CF card is available for pfSense?

not sure if i'm framing the question right, but any help would be great

get a HDD for web caching, its never been a good idea using a CF as your web cache.

also to resize it, you can just plug that to any linux machine and have it resize the partition using gparted.

          Did you ever try this?

I have never seen that work successfully. I haven't spent long trying though.

But yeah, there's no easy way and you shouldn't be using flash for caching anyway.

TINC is available in 2.3.3 snapshots BTW.

And in 2.4 but that won't run on an X750e.

                  Steve
