APU1C & 3G-4G Modem

Hi,

I am using since a few days the great new APU1C (2G and 4G RAM version) from PC Engines with pfSense 2.1 (2.1.2), working well.

I am trying to use as backup and/or main access a 3G-4G modem.

I have 2 cards available to fit into the APU1C miniPCI Express slot using the embedded SIM card card reader on the APU1C :

Sierra Wireless MC8801 (3G HSPDA up to 42Mb/s)
Sierra Wireless MC7304 (4G LTE for Europe)

For the moment i am able to arrive to have the MC8801 working with the APU1C !

Does someone has better result ?
Does someone has a suggestion for a 3G or 4G modem running on the APU1C into a miniPCI Express slot with pfSense current (2.1.2) ?

Hi Nicolas,

did you find a solution? For now I'm facing the same issue. 4G as Backup using the embedded SIM and miniPCI Express lot.
