Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165/7265/8260

I need to know if this card will be recognized with Pfsense 2.3.
I do not care the AC support. I do care to have N and below support with AP mode since I am planning to use the pfsense as a Wireless Router.
The hardware only have limited Wireless Cards options. Intel AC-3165, AC-7265, AC-8260

What does this mean in the real life? Are you able to buy and insert perhaps a miniCPIe card such as;
- Ubiquiti (UBNT) SR71-E
- Compex WLE200NX
Both are minPCIe cards in full length! They offer a/b/g/n WiFi and are well supported in pfSense.
Otherwise you may have a look over that list shown here in the next line this are also very well
supported cards and chipsets!

The computer I have for this case is a oem device where the cards are soldered at time of build. I have to select the card the best it can that be usable for pfsense.

Check the FreeBSD man pages for these. Last time I looked, none of the Intel cards supported AP mode.

The computer do have usb ports. I can plug a usb wireless card to the device for pacense.
What do you recommend to make pfsense a wireless router?

The whole pfSense SG series or the desktop devices from Netgate, APU2C4, Jetway NF9HG-2930 together with a supported
wireless card in PCI/PCIe or miniPCI/miniPCIe format. Well known cards are the both named from me above. But if you are
not able to realize it in one unit take an external WiFi AP and connect it to the pfSense unit. -

I look for RJ45 usb instead of Wireless and its also a pain to find one in the market. I thinking that will have to wait for 2.4 to have freebsd 11.

Stick a small vlan switch off the LAN and pull the APs off that.
