IPv6 static route lost after WAN flap
-
Not sure if this is working as intended, but when my WAN connection drops and comes back - pfSense loses its v6 static routes that I've defined. I've got a Comcast Business Connection with a /56 PD. I've got two interfaces tracking the WAN for their /64s, but I also statically route some of the remaining space. If the connection drops and comes back, everyone's happy except for the static routes. I have to return to that section of the admin interface and re-apply settings to get the routes back.
Is this working as intended? I'd assume the static routes would remain, static ;)

If your /56 prefix does not change, then just don't do Track Interface.
Assign Static LAN's prefix + subnet, suiting your LAN-host IP number.
Use RA Managed (DHCP) or Router Only (Static) -

Use RA Managed (DHCP) or Router Only (Static)Unfortunately, it's dynamic. It still seems buggy that pfSense would abandon its static routes after a network bounce though…
