I want to block web based google chat. gtalk in l7 traffic shaper doesn't work correctly. can you help me? -
The L7 pattern probably doesn't work because the traffic is encrypted now (HTTPS). As with most Google services, blocking by IP isn't very useful.
If you have (or can force) control over the DNS used by clients, use Google's suggestion from here:

You can't match it with an L7 pattern if it's encrypted.

I want to add patterns for some unencrypted protocols. but i don't know what files should be changed.
