I just bought an SG-1000 and it's a great little box. So far, the only thing I miss from my now dead Supermicro D510-based setup is LCDproc.

For those of you who (like me) prefer not to install third-party KEXTs on their Macs, there is a serial console app available that has the Silicon Labs CP210x driver built-in (user space, no admin). "Serial" by Decisive Tactics will communicate with the Netgate hardware without installing a KEXT on your Mac. It is a much better experience than using Terminal, too.

I don't work for them but I do use the app.
