Training

Why not run it as an online event (Can Skype multicast yet?) ? There's plenty of us 'Down under' here in Oz that won't be able to make it up your way this year but would love to participate? ;)
Cheers

I'm interested in attending one of the events but also think it should be recorded for sale as a DVD.
As mentioned by the previous user web conferences also could be beneficial.Mark

Indeed, I feel that the interest in training will be much greater than those who can attend an event in person in Kentucky. I'd be one of those who would gladly watch a web-based event, but who would not be able to make it in person.

Kentucky or at BSDCan 2008 in Ottawa Canada.

Definitely interested in a Louisville class as it is only an hour away. Also, a "webinar" would be good too.
Thanks, Dave

Looks like the Jones' over at m0n0wall have setup screencasts on their website for topics succh as Inbound NAT, Installation and Configuration, Captive Portal, and IPSEC VPN. Which makes me think of the benefit of an actual seminar, which of course is the Q&A section. It would be nice to actually have someone answer exactly what flew over my head.
Ottawa and Kentucky are a bit out my ways. Next time something is setup within a 3 hour drive of New York City, I'm there!

I think a webinar or web based training is the way to go here.
My wife works for one of the largest commercial open source companies. "Online training is key to user adoption" the wifey. Many people don't have the time or the money to attend on site training. Most attendees at my wifes seminars are from the US and Canada. Mainly due to the language barrier and travel costs. A drawback of live webinars is the Time difference. It is difficult to select a time that all people can attend. A recorded webinar or web based training works nicely to help resolve this issue.

Hi guys,
Please think on those like me who live far away (Spain). A video recording -or similar- would be greatly appreciated. It has not to be for free even !
Thanks for such a good product ;D

I'd be up for a session that was near NYC too. Otherwise, a virtual environment/webinar would be cool. I wouldn't mind paying if it was done well.
Best,
