      Hello,
i encounter this strange behaviour of our new pfSense.
Every hour is a 100% packet loss for about 15 Minutes.
How would you debug this, what should i check?
The pfsense is connected to a switch which goes to the internet.
When i do a packet capture (while its down), the pfsense does not receive any packets from outside, so i already changed the port in the switch to check if maybe the port is broken but still same results.

Maybe someone encountered a similiar problem

Hardware is an XG-2758 1U pfSense® Security Gateway Appliance

Are you experiencing across the across the board packet loss (the internet doesn't work at all), or is it particular to your monitor target address?

If you are not experiencing across the board packet loss, the easiest guess is that the problem is to particular your monitor address. Try using a different address, such as a google public address such as 8.8.8.8 for monitoring and see if the issue goes away. If it does, you can use traceroute to help you choose an appropriate monitor address.
