      Hi all
We just had an outage of about 40 minutes because of a problem with state synchronization and limiters.

The problem is described here: http://phil.lavin.me.uk/2016/08/solved-pfsense-pfsync_undefer_state-unable-to-find-deferred-state/

In this entry https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=91424.msg505964#msg505964 Derelict describes the same issue and points out, that he could imagine a node going down if the traffic is high enough. That's what happend in our case.

Switching off the state sync is a workaround, but clearly not a definite fix. Any update on this issue?
We are on the latest firmware (2.3.3-RELEASE-p1)

I think I found this bug on the roadmap for version 2.4 (https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/4310)
